Dr. Danna Hu is a dedicated Science educator with a strong academic foundation and an excellent research background in analytical chemistry. She holds a PhD in Chemistry from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Master of Science in Food Safety and Toxicology from The University of Hong Kong—a distinguished academic trajectory that bolsters her capacity for rigorous scientific inquiry and analytical problem-solving. Her contributions to several research publications in internationally recognized scientific journals further attest to her ability to conduct high-quality scientific research.

Danna integrates this research-minded approach directly into her science classroom. With experience teaching HKDSE Chemistry to secondary students, she helps learners build a solid understanding of key chemical concepts while developing logical thinking and scientific reasoning. She also teaches Integrated Science, where she encourages students to connect scientific knowledge with real-life phenomena through discussion, questioning, and practical experiments, fostering curiosity and a deeper appreciation for the world around them.

An advocate of making science both accessible and intellectually stimulating, Danna is committed to guiding students not only to master examination knowledge but also to think like young scientists.
