Esther Gonzalez - Our Team

Esther Gonzalez is an accomplished educator with a rich background in English language and literature teaching in various international contexts. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in English Language Teaching from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, awarded as a “Preferred Graduate,” and a Master of Arts in Translation from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Mrs. Gonzalez has dedicated her career to fostering a passion for language and culture among her students.

Her international experiences have significantly shaped her teaching philosophy. A highlight was her participation in an English Language and Culture program at the University of Edinburgh, where she achieved a perfect GPA. Additionally, she completed a professional attachment in Australia at Southern Cross University, teaching at Richmond River High School and gaining invaluable insights into diverse pedagogical strategies and classroom dynamics.

Mrs. Gonzalez has made substantial contributions to leading international schools and local Band 1A schools, adapting to various curricula and student needs. She has served as an English and Chinese Coordinator, successfully integrating the French and International Baccalaureate (IB) frameworks into her teaching. Recognized for her contributions to the field, she has received numerous awards at local and international school festivals in speech, music, and drama, and is committed to sharing her extensive international experience to support students in their academic and personal growth.
