Marcus Wang - Our Team

Marcus Wang is devoted to cultivating curious, confident, and self-assured learners in Mathematics and STEM. His commitment to Hong Kong education began during his tenure as a research assistant at The Education University of Hong Kong, where he first recognised the transformative power of student-centred teaching to empower learners. To deliver premium education across multiple curricula, he acquired an iPGCE from the University of East London, an IB Diploma Programme Mathematics Educator Certificate, and TESOL accreditation.

Marcus has taught Mathematics and Science in Hong Kong EMI secondary schools for over eight years and served as an admissions interviewer for numerous students. He excels at integrating real-life applications into his lessons to simplify abstract mathematical concepts and thereby inspire students' enthusiasm for exploration and discovery. His less didactic approach not only enhances academic achievement but also fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and a genuine love for learning.

An active member of Hong Kong's teacher associations, Marcus prioritises peer collaboration and continuous professional development. He looks forward to joining the Bloom community, where he is eager to share his professional expertise and support the delivery of creative, meaningful education for all students.
